Twenty-four-year-old Daniel T. Ross from Mayville, Wisconsin, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of sexually assaulting three 15-year-old girls and entered a plea of not guilty to all three charges. He faces up to 40 years in jail and $100,000 in fines on each count. Outlined in the criminal complaint Ross admitted to inviting a 15-year-old girl over to his apartment to drink alcohol and to have sex; he also admitted to dating another 15-year-old girl for two months and claimed to have engaged in sex with her between 50 to 100 times at a North Clark Street apartment. Another 15-year-old girl informed the police that she had sex with Ross at his Mayville apartment for two months. Ross knew the ages of his partners in all cases.

In Soledad, California, Stanislaus Anthony Malolepszy, age 74, was arrested after the Monterey County Sheriff's office received reports he had sexually abused two children in his care, an 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl. He was arrested on suspicion of conducting lewd acts with minors, including continuous molestation and digital penetration of the female child. He was taken into custody without incident.

In Towanda, New York, Michael Allen Bacon, 31, was arrested for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl. He was charged with aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault for the alleged molestation, was arraigned at the Bradford County District Court, and remains in the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $85,000 bail.

In Marion County, Florida, 35-year-old Ralph Shollenberger, a Dunnellon Middle School teacher, is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old former student. Investigators believe that he apparently had sex with the girl on two occasions at his house, although during questioning Shollenberger claimed to not remember the girl and also claimed that he believed he was meeting with the alleged victim's older sister. However, the girl does not have a sister, and Shollenberger remains in jail on a $30,000 bond.

In Flint, Michigan, 28-year-old Alan Trimue, a Genesee County Sheriff's Department volunteer deputy, is charged with forcing two underage teenagers to have sex with him at a Burton motel. He faces 17 felony counts, including multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and impersonating a police officer. Authorities state that he forced two sisters, ages 13 and 14, to have sex with him over a period of seven months. He purportedly knew the girls' mother and told the teens he was a police officer, placing a handgun on the nightstand while he had sex with them. He was jailed on a $690,000 bond.

In Austin, Texas, Todd McDowell, 57, a former elementary school teacher, has pled guilty to charges of indecency with a child. The incident occurred ten years prior and involved a 13 year old girl at Zavala Elementary School. McDowell was accused of molesting her on two separate occasions, both on school grounds. He will be required to register as a sex offender and faces a jail term of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

In Michigan, 30 year old Scott Alan Loftis was arrested after soliciting an undercover officer with the Macomb Area Computer Enforcement team that he believed to be a 14 year old girl for oral sex and intercourse. He made arrangements to meet the "girl" in Macomb County and upon his arrival was arrested. He now faces five felony charges.

In Pennsylvania, Michael Wynn Clark, 39, of York County, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for purportedly funding the production of child pornography. He has been charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sex acts, receipt and distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography. More than 1700 images and 60 movies of child pornography were found on Clark's computer. He faces massive fines and the possibility of life in prison.

In Indiana, Long B. Huynh, 39, of Fort Wayne, has been accused of molesting two girls, ages 13 and 14, at his home and at the home of a relative. In each instance, the girls stated that the molestation took place over the period of a year.

In Pennsylvania, Walter Lee Owens, 38, of Cresson, was found guilty on six sex-related felonies involving a relationship with a 14 year old. He is due to be evaluated as a possible violent sexual predator under state law.
