Who are you guys?
I'm Del Harvey, an administrator and law enforcement liaison at another site called Perverted Justice. Others who help me on this site range from some volunteers on Perverted Justice to my roommates (whose contribution was posing patiently for Poloroids) to Audrey, an amazing graphic designer.

What's the point of this site?
To create a website that serves as a resource for teenagers, containing accurate information, practical suggestions, and (we hope) helpful advice.

Why do you have a Tyrannosaurus Rex as your logo?
Mostly because the Tyrannosaurus Rex is awesome and the battle between ninjas and pirates is too epic for me to try to choose one of those two as a logo.

Can I request that you add something to the download section?
You certainly may request that we add something. The more polite you are, the more likely that your wish will become our command if it is within our power to fulfill your request.

Do you guys have a MySpace?
Indeed we do, but while you're welcome to add it as a friend, contacting us via MySpace will be difficult - we'd much rather you use the e-mail addresses we list on the Contact Us page as we'll actually get those messages much more quickly. However, in terms of spreading the word and social networking, MySpace rocks - so feel free to add, just remember that inbox isn't checked regularly. You'll find it at:

Why is this FAQ so short?
The site is just being developed, and we would rather the FAQ be made up of questions that people actually frequently ask rather than questions we think people might frequently ask.

What if it's not rape, (s)he's just going too fast?
You and you alone know what you are comfortable with and ready for. If someone is pressuring you to do something that you do not want to do, tell that person to stop and that you're not ready. If that person isn't okay with you feeling that way, then quite honestly, that person probably isn't a very good person to be with since he or she lacks respect for your feelings about the situation.

What's the difference between sexual harassment and rape?
Rape is forcing someone to have sex through physical force or duress or forcing any act of sexual intercourse upon a person. Sexual harassment is generally someone making unwanted sexual advances or sexually offensive remarks -- so, essentially, while sexual harassment may happen prior to rape, rape is the actual act of forcing someone (whether by physical means or by bullying) to engage in any type of sexual intercourse or activity.

Can it be sexual harassment if you're dating?
Absolutely. Any time someone sexually pressures you or makes you feel uncomfortable with sexual comments or sexual "jokes," it's sexual harassment, even if you're dating.

Can it be rape if you're dating and have already had sex?
Absolutely. Just because you had sex with someone before doesn't give that individual the right to have sex with you whenever he or she wants to. That's where the whole concept of "no means no" came from, to a degree -- just because it was okay last time, it doesn't have to be okay this time. If it's not okay this time, then it's rape, whether you're dating the person or not.
